The novelty of the Collapsible 10 ft Pole may save the lives of many low fort saving rogues throughout the years, however what about weapons that include long hafts or hand grips? The feature of being able to unlock a smooth release mechanism would improve the roleplaying aspect of carrying cumbersome reach weapons around town, within dungeons, etc. This may also improve the chance a character has to conceal such a weapon from unwanted attention. I would like to know if this is possible for the hafts on weapons such as the staff, halbard, longspear, etc? If no official rules allow such options, what ideas or house rules have you found to work well without unbalancing things too much? |

It's sized for a Fine creature, and slips into your pocket with no problems! Need to poke something? It's sized for a Large creature, and is about 10 feet long! Need to get across a gorge? It's sized for a Colossal+ creature, and is sixty feet long! Awesome. |
| NeueRegel07-26-05, 10:19 AM | Theolorn, you have your e-mail and private options turned off. I have some houserule options "ideas" that I may not post, because they are under purchase agreement at the moment. As in, legal enough that I stand to have my name in the credits, but, not stand to make any money, aside from a "You-may-leave-now" check. Contact me, and I'll give you some pointers that you didn't think of. NeueRegel |
