03-28-07, 04:22 PM I seem to remember reading about a character wanting to add the effects of a ring of invisability to their ring of protection +1, but I cant remember where it was. I know that to make a magic item but just change where its worn on the body increases the price by 50%, so is there a formula for adding effects of one magic item to another?

03-28-07, 09:46 PM There are updated rules for it in the MIC. It gives a list of enhancements you can add to items (based on body slot affinity) for base cost. Those include Deflection bonus to AC (ring), Resistance bonus to saves (cloak), and all the good ol' enhancement bonuses to stats.

So buying a Ring of Invisibility, +1 Protection now costs 21,000 gp.
