Combining Maneuvers [Archive] - Wizards Community

I wasn't sure where else to put this, but since it's a combat situation I thought I'd put it here.

So I have a dual-wielding warblade who has the maneuvers Rabid Mongoose and Time Stands Still. I was just wondering if it was possible to combine these two to gain an extra four attacks per full-attack action (since the initiation time of Rabid Mongoose is a swift action and lasts until the end of your turn, not until the end of your attack), and Time Stands Still is a full-round action (and it says in the description of a swift action that you can use them without affecting our ability to perform other actions, such as a full round action, see Complete Arcane page 86).

Any opinions?

*raging* mongoose adds 2 attacks for its use, and has no mention about per round or anything like that

time stand still does 2 full round attacks

it will do 2 full round attacks + 2 attacks

Correction, Raging Mongoose does 2 extra attacks PER WEAPON (to a maximum of 4 extra attacks for dual or multi weapon wielders)

But what my question is, is would the Raging Mongoose apply to one or both of the full attack actions? Because the way that I had interpreted it, I thought that it applied to both

It would apply to both.

One of the questions deals specifically with this. At first the answer given was that it only applied to one of your full round actions, but apparently that got overruled and it was decided that it would be an extra 4 attacks on each attack action, giving you 22 attacks in this round at level 17, when you would first be able to select Time Stand Still. Couple this with the fact that you only need a swift action to recover those two maneuvers and you're in pretty good shape, provided your fighting something that you can hit somewhat regularly.
