Karas 05-10-06, 05:01 PM	Hi all, is there a cheap way to give a druid telepathy, tonques or a way to speak in wildshape, that doesn't cost a feat? What would it cost? Maybe something like ioun stone of permanent telepathy?! Thx for answers, Karas

belthazzar1113 05-10-06, 08:35 PM	yes, and master of many forms has so many broken and debated abilities that in nearly every game the class is flat out banned as a homerule. if you check the PHB2 they cover alot of this... if your polymorphed into something that doesn't have human vocal cords you can generally communicate simple one word ideas pretty easy. yes, no, come, stay, brb, and so forth. as far as the rest of it, anything with a claw, talon, hoof, paw, fang, or tail is able to write on the ground or on the dirt. so grab yourself a little fingerbag of chalk dust or make sure to find some sand or mud and you shouldn't have an issue getting your ideas out. other than that you might look into something like a persistant ioun stone of mindlink. custom magic item with the no space requirment, at will 1st or 0th level power. not terribly expensive or hard to make. and if you have it with the no space requirment, then make sure its something like a rune or a halo or something else like that and make sure you keep it when you change shape.
