Have an item of tongues made? Or get a bard, cleric, or Sorc/Wiz to cast it on you?

You still have all your knowledge, and everyone but the barbarian can read. Write in the dirt with a claw or paw. Cheap and efficient, if not suited to deep meaningful conversations.
