Probably dumb question but.... What is the max strength bonus a composite Longbow go to? +4?

I'm playing a 18th level babarian while raging his strength bonus is up to +7. Can a get a bow that goes up to +7?

Is there also can i make a Masterwork composite longbow?

So what it comes down to i'd like a Masterwork composite longbow +7 :)

Can it be done?

Cheap weapon that i probably wont use much. But i'd like to get the most out of it with my strength and to hit.

There is no limit to the strength bonus of composite bows listed in the SRD. It just costs an additional 100gp/bonus. You should also remember if you do not have the strength bonus of the composite bow, you take a -2 to hit with the weapon. So if you had a +7 composite bow, you would suffer a -2 to hit when not raging (since you only have the +7 when raging) and instead would only get +5 damage & take a -2 to hit any other time. Instead, you might want to get a +5 composite bow since most barbarians tend to rush into the fight when raging instead of sitting back & making ranged attacks while raging.

Thanks for the advice.

What about the masterwork part of it for the +1 to hit? I can't find anything that says it can't be.

I think there is a reason, the equipment-table only lists mighty bows +4 for medium-sized characters and up to +2 for small characters. I think if you want stronger bows, you'd need to be bigger, or you need very special materials and bowmakers with skills to the sky, that take thousents of gold just for the item without enchantment.
If ranged weapon would deal as much damage, as meele weapons, the tank would be an unfamous job.

If ranged weapon would deal as much damage, as meele weapons, the tank would be an unfamous job.
If ranged weapons multiplied Str by 1.5 for being used two-handed, could apply power attack, and used one ability score for attack and damage instead of two, this would be a problem.

There probably ought to be a strength limit on bows, but in the RAW there isn't.
