Concealment?? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-01-06, 04:47 PM If I were under the effect of a Blur spell and a wizard cast a fireball at me would I roll to see if he missed due to concealment, or, does the fact that it is an area spell negate that 20% miss chance?? Just wondering...

10-01-06, 04:54 PM The concealment effect helps you not a bit, as fireball is an area effect spell. The wording for fireball states that all creatures in the area take damage.

10-02-06, 01:07 AM The miss chance only applies against attack rolls made to hit you. If there is no attack roll involved then the miss chance doesn't apply.
