| Khatoblepas09-28-07, 07:21 PM | If you are using (RoTW) Confound the Big Folk's Unsteady Footing, can you substitute an a trip attack for a maneuver that mimics a trip attack? I'm wondering this, because it states that you can take a standard action to trip the opponent, but what if you take that standard action to, say, use Setting Sun's Mighty Throw? The maneuver says "resolve the attack as a trip attack", but it isn't technically a trip. Secondly, would it be balanced to allow it? It seems thematically like it would work in tandem, with the manuever just being an advanced trip. (Has this been answered before?) |
