jediknight1179 05-01-05, 03:02 AM	I'm working on a character concept of a Scout from Complete Adventurer using a Whip-dagger as his main weapon. I am confused though on whether the whip-dagger is considered a melee or ranged attack. The 3.5 PHB says it's melee, but the Arms & Equipment book calls it an Exotic Ranged Weapon. My main concern is whether to bother taking Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot if it is a ranged attack. What is the official ruling on this? Thanks
Cog 05-01-05, 03:30 AM	I don't know anything about the weapon, but the 3.5 PHB came out after the A&EG, and therefore has the latest set of rules.
