Controlling a Dracolitch through it's phlactery... [Archive] - Wizards Community

ok I have a Pale Master in a Forgotten realms campaign. He has through his adventures aquired a tome from the cult of the dragon on how to make a Dracolithc.

Now he has the Craft Wonderous item feat, and he wants to create an item that will include the would be Dracolitch's phylactery, that would allow him to maintain control of it. Preferably it would be in a circlet or pendant.

My question is, is there anything like this covered already, and how would I go about pricing it?

Anyone? I know the costs of building the phylactery, but I want to include it in an amulet or circlet that allows the wearer to dominate the Dracolitch it contains. I just have no idea what the pricing on that would be.

Besides, what self respecting Necromancer wouldn't want to ride around on a Drocolitch mount. :D

02-17-05, 11:04 AM Hmm... perhaps I should break it down into something like the Control Undead armor ability. I don't have a book in front of me right now, but if I remember right, it allowed you to control 12hd of undead till the next sunset. The changes would be that it is only for the one Drcolich, and that it would be something other than armor or a shield.
