I'm a level 5/Monk and level 2/drunken master. I was wondering what were some good weapons for him. I just had a master worked mug made out of some type of frost metal from the frost burn book so I always have my frost drinking mug around. But I was also thinking about getting a 15ft piece of strengthened rope so I can use it like a whip since I have improvised weapons. But I was wondering If anyone has any cool Ideas or experiences with this. Any feed back would be great. thanks

You need to get a +1 mug of Icy Burst. Just for use while drinking, the combat is not the most important part of the game. Got to keep your priorities straight.

Barstool.

Seriously.

Talk with your DM(you may even get disarm bonues thanks to the pointy legs bit). I'd make it out a special material (I'm thinking Adamantine, cause you're a hard drinker...2..3..4..)

I was wondering what the price would be on a mug that never needs to be refilled, kinda like a decanter of endless water but with no pressure?anyone would know the price or even if it could be made. I thought that would be cool.

An "Everfull Mug" can be found in the 3.0 Arms & Equipment Guide, for a cost of 800gp. it also can produce water or wine, I believe.

In the movie, a wet towel worked really well.

A crobar... Or a frying pan... Or a frying pan with a crobar for the handle... Mmmmmm... Bacon...

Frying Pan - If you can resist the temptation to smack someone with a frying pan then you are not human. Get the hell away from me.

Pool Table - Well, not the table itself, but the pool cues make good quarterstaffs (and who can pass up the opportunity to jam the point into an opponent's forehead in classic pool stance?) and the balls make fine thrown weapons. Note that this requires a pool table, so only viable in Eberron or similar settings.

Belt - Hold in two hands, and wrap around opponent's wrists or weapon to disarm.

Rope - Have you ever seen Transporter 2? Think the fire hose scene. If you haven't? See it. Now. It'll be a big help with this sort of thing.

Oil Lamp - Smash. Burn.

Handbag - hold by straps and swing the body about wildly. Think flail.

Meat Cleaver - use like handaxe or throwing axe.

Plate - excellent "Xena death frisbee" ripoff material.

Bottle - Why am I even saying this? This can go unsaid. It's just too obvious.

you always can try a chain, that would be like improvised spiked chain.

for fun factor, a mop it is the ultimate weapon... nothing better than beating dragons using a mop.

anyway, the fun of the class it is to not carry never equipment but use anything you find in the place.

if your master it is a funny guy, you will always find an original weapon.

And hey, improvised weapon means improvised weapon, if a nearby slightly small person dies or goes down, you can beat people with a gnome or halfling.

Well, my personal favorite is the +5 axiomatic dining room table of frost.

What about carrying about a 12 bottle crate of homebrewn 110% proof liquor? You could use them as alchemists fire with an extra poisoncloud effect or so :D

Although on the other hand smashing good alcohol might be nearest to a deadly sin a drunken master could ever get...

I have a drunken master and here are some nifty ideas i came up with, since in this campaign we are rarely ever in a populated area.

Bag of Holding IV
Fill it full of beer, reach in pull out a bottle, chuge and then chuck repeat hehe. And in a pinch a 60lb bag upside the head is always humorous. (just don't roll a 1 or pop goes the bag of holding, which would actually be funny to have all the junk rain down on the opponent)

Robe of Useful items
Becomes a robe of crazy weapons! I mean come on, even if full of random stuff. How funny is it to pull out a 20 ft pole and just beat someone down, or Ladder FTW!!!

A Rock
When in doubt, rocks are always about lol.

Gloves of Arrow Snarring
What says screw you more than catching your enemies arrow and then using it as an improvised weapon. God save them if it is a slaying arrow or otherwise enchanted.

A friends Familiar/Spell Book
Although i recomend against this, the owner usually is not pleased after the fight. :P

Sundered Weapon
If you are the sundering type you could always pick up the peices and have fun with them hehe

A foes Limb/Your Arm
Nothing more humiliating to an opponent than getting beat down with his/your arm lol.

hope this helps

Thankfully someone remembered this one. When is the last time you beat someone up with a pair of war dogs. Jackie Chan would 0wn with one of these.

-A hot drink for a splash weapon
-take off your sash and choke em'........if possible
-instead of smashing the rock against them, smash them against the rock!

A loincloth with the clouting enhancement (Complete Arcane I think), because if the sight of a drunken man taking off his pants isn't enough to make them run away, the subsequent beatings will.

Oh, and get yourself a Monk's Tattoo (one of the Faerun books) and dip into Tattoed Monk, because you simply can't be a Drunken Master without occasionally waking up with a new tattoo :D
