| Mindolin03-05-07, 12:00 AM | Just what the thread asks, how much are they? |
| Cold Napalm03-05-07, 02:12 AM | 25 gp |
| Novacat03-05-07, 02:22 AM | It's in the Dungeon Master's Guide. If you have one, go look yourself. If you don't, here's a link to the Hypertext d20 SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/). Go find it yourself. |
| LostPassWordDoesNotWork03-05-07, 02:40 AM | It's in the Dungeon Master's Guide. If you have one, go look yourself. If you don't, here's a link to the Hypertext d20 SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/). Go find it yourself. He asked for a dullgray stone. SRD only lists clear, dusty rose, deep red, incandescent blue, pale blue, pink, pink and green, scarlet and blue, dark blue, vibrant purple, iridescent, pale lavender, pearly white, pale green, orange, and lavender and green. But since your telling him to search I'm sure you did not know that. @Mindolin, I have no clue what book to find a dull gray ioun stone in. It looks like Cold Napalm does. |
| Kouk03-05-07, 03:03 AM | Dull gray is the one that just floats over your head and does nothing right? It was listed in 3rd edition but not 3.5. 25g |
| Dheran03-05-07, 04:48 AM | So why would you want one? If it's to make a hands-free torch equivalent with Continual Flame, that actually doesn't work properly. Either the light shines directly into your eyes, or it casts the shadow of your head where you're trying to look. My DM treated it as a torch but with -10 penalties to Spot and Search to the person whose head it circles. We'll never try that again! |
| Potato Weasel03-05-07, 07:08 AM | Well, I thought they were incredibly fun. You can paint a face on it, you can get it magic mouthed for various effects, you can declare its your familiar, and insist he be dressed snazzily, and gain an equal share of treasure! (note: this may or may not result in your pc worshipping zagyg and/or being shipped of to an asylum 'for his own good') |
| Mindolin03-05-07, 08:29 AM | Also because you can draw out a power point with it, allowing you to further enhance your manifesting capability. Thanks for the help, as it was not listed in the 3.5 DMG. |
| Melpomene03-05-07, 11:37 AM | Remember that a burned out stone belonged to someone at some point. A likely epic-level someone. The cost just due to the person's fame (or infamy) might cause the item to be worth more to collectors. |
