CainJustice 04-02-07, 01:09 PM	hey again, I want to purchase a +1 sacred burst dwarven waraxe for my dwarf but i want to know the cost...would it be a +1 bonus by itself? or +1 for the weapon and +1 again for the sacred burst quality? thanks for the help
tarkin 04-02-07, 01:35 PM	Not sure where the enchantment Sacred Burst comes from. A +1 Sacred weapon (Sacred, from Book of Exalted Deeds) is +1 (+1) +2(Sacred) = +3 total Cost = 18,000 gp + 300 for masterwork + 30 gp cost of weapon Total - 18,330 gp.

ClementWillowbreaker 04-02-07, 01:40 PM	Sacred (+1) and Sacred Burst (+2) are from Libris Mortis (and incidentally totally broken for their level). A +1 Sacred Burst weapon costs exactly as much as a +3 weapon of that type. 18,000gp plus the base masterwork weapon.

Because you have to buy Sacred in addition to Sacred Burst, for a total cost of +2. The MIC states some property costs differently than we're used to. Some properties have a prerequisite, meaning you have to buy the prereq first, then the property you want. i.e. Screaming is +1, Screaming Burst is +1 with Screaming as a prereq, for a total cost of +2.
