Hi,
cover rule for ranged attack states: "To determine whether your target has cover from your ranged attack, choose a corner of your square. If any line from this corner to any corner of the target’s square passes through a square or border that blocks line of effect or provides cover, or through a square occupied by a creature, the target has cover (+4 to AC)"
So in following situation player B has not cover against a throw weapon of player A, because A chooses one of its front corners (on the right of 'A') and no line to any 'B' corner passes through a square or border that blocks line of effect

|xxB
|xx
|xx
| A
(where x = wall)

Cover rule for melee attack states: "When making a melee attack against an adjacent target, your target has cover if any line from your square to the target’s square goes through a wall (including a low wall)."
So in following situation player B has cover against melee attack of player A and viceversa

|xxB
| A
(where x = wall)

Morale: in this situation it's better for both players to use a throw weapon because target has not cover
In addition the throw weapon doesn't cause opponent AoO because of cover.

In such a case, both players are peeking out around the wall and throwing things at each other (though not necessarily at the same exact moment).
