| Naeron11-26-04, 10:14 AM | The creator pays the XP cost in full but any other pre-requisite can be supplied by the creator, another being or an appropriate magic item. SRD - Magic Items I It is possible for more than one character to cooperate in the creation of an item, with each participant providing one or more of the prerequisites. In some cases, cooperation may even be necessary. If two or more characters cooperate to create an item, they must agree among themselves who will be considered the creator for the purpose of determinations where the creator’s level must be known. The character designated as the creator pays the XP required to make the item. |
| Venom of the Yuan Ti11-26-04, 10:30 AM | You have three options. 1 Take a level in cleric or Druid, 2 get a cleric/Druid/Bard to cast it or 3 get the DM to widen the restrictions. When I DM for exaple Bane weapons can be made with Summon monster 1, but Bane (Animal/Magical beast/Plant/Fey) can also be made with Summon natures allay 1 |
