| Deviston03-21-05, 11:34 PM | Say I go to a great city, then I go to the Dwarven smiths forge (( big place with lots of business and lots of materials )) say the Dwarf lets me use his forge and any materials I need, even if it mean melting down some of the Mithril stuff he already has (( I love charm and dominate spells )). Does this reduce the cost of creating the items by any? (( exp changes i dont hope for, but maybe so? )) |
| Vatras03-22-05, 07:58 AM | The mere idea to get a dwarf to part with his wealth...:) |
| Deviston03-22-05, 08:43 AM | that's not a problem, they may be hardy to spells, but a good mind-effecting one would make him WANT to help me, so would it? |

Do not however confuse this with lowering the market price, the market price remains the same as does the XP cost only the material cost would go down. However since you can charm him into that I suggest sharing creation with him. This means that the XP cost is divided among all of those that did the work. |
| Phelix-Mu03-22-05, 10:28 AM | Be sure to use some kind of memory substitution effect, because if this guy wakes up later.... Let us just say he's probably got some fellow clansmen that you might not want to get to know. ~Phelix-Mu |

Im pretty sure that most DMs wont allow sharing of xp in that case. |

I already fight this group of 3 that, after I beat ( every time no less ) I let go with some witty and snide remark as they lay at the brink of death blah blah blah . . . Warlocks are super great BBEG's, this is probably my favourite character so far, and his cohort is pretty sweetness too (( Dragon Disciple )) and they compliment eachother sooooo well!! |
| Yobgod Ababua03-22-05, 09:02 PM | Note that the main benefit for borrowing the forge and equipment is that you'll get the +2 circumstance bonus for having appropriate masterwork tools. |
| Deviston03-23-05, 07:46 AM | very true, in BORROWING . . . I'm getting a master craftsman to let me use any of his materials, products, money for that matter, and be honored to do so . . . i think it would be a little more . . . |
