| Chimaera200003-28-07, 06:46 PM | I've done some searching (Google, FAQ, Rules of the Game) and haven't found a concrete answer to a particular question. As an artificer, is it possible to craft a wand with a domain spell in it? I haven't found anything that suggests otherwise so far; the FAQ indicates that a domain spell is considered a known spell, meaning that it can be crafted. However, I was wondering if anyone understood otherwise. If context is required, I'm aiming to make an eternal wand of recitation (Spell Compendium; Clr 4, Purification 3; we house-rule eternal wands to allow divine spells) for use with Persistent Spell. |

We'll see if I actually decide to try this first, as I'm trying to use Persistent Spell whilst making sure that everyone (including the DM) still has fun. Giving myself +3 on attacks, saves, and AC while giving the other party members +2 to the same means that the party becomes a lot stronger, which might lead to dispel magic coming up more often as the DM seeks ways to deliver a suitable challenge to a more powerful party. I think that I'll start a new thread: to Persist or not to Persist? |
