Create Items for warlock [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-04-05, 07:53 PM Is there, or can you create a ring, earring, ect that gives effective lvls to warlock in determining Invocations known?

There is like a ring of wizardy for wizards..is there one for warlocks? If no how would you create one?

05-04-05, 10:47 PM There is not, and for good reason. A Ring of Wizardry adds a limited number of extra uses of already known spells. Any item that emulated an Invocation would add unlimited uses of a new spell effect. Of those two the latter is clearly the superior, and a Ring of Wizardry is already one of the most expensive and powerful magic items in the DMG. So unless your DM is very forgiving I don't expect such an item will be existing any time soon.

Sorry should have been more clear. Was looking for a Item made, or could be made like the Monk's Belt, or Gaunlet of the Talon, but for a Warlock.

Something that could grant a +5 bonus to Warlock class/casting levels, for the purpose of calculating Eldritch blast damage, and Invocations known for the virtual lvls.

Even the Monk's Belt only adds virtual levels for AC and unarmed damage, it does not give the Flurry and Special Abilities of a monk five levels higher. An item that adds caster levels to your invocations? Sure. An item that boosts your Eldritch Blast? Complete Arcane already has the Chastabule of Fell Power. An item to give you extra invocations of equal or HIGHER level than you already have, when it takes a feat to get one extra invocation of lower level? Not a chance.
