| Pure_bordem11-23-05, 04:31 PM | Ive always wondered this, some weapons have like positive energy type abilites or like special flame powers etc, could u craft the same type of weapon but have the polar oppoisite powers on it, like a negtive engery instead of postitives etc, a good example is to make a cold version of flame tounge, flame tounge is normally a +2 flamming burst long sword (i think) with the ablity to make a 60 foot line of fire doing 2d6 once per day, could u (with the right spells and such) make a ice version, or would that be unreasonable? |

We often do such things (within reason, of course) to have spells or items better fit the flavor of certain characters. If nothing else there is (or at least was) an energy substitution feat kicking around somewhere. Don't remember where, though. |

And thats one of the best signitures i have ever seen Hehe thanks for the comment apprectiation, but the main thing I want to do is to take that bastard sword that weighs like as much as short sword, can cast daylight, yady yady yada, and turn that into a dark weapon, cause that would go sweet with my drow hexblade/dragondisciple, can you say huge debuffing tank wielding two weapons casting darkness and such to confuse foes all while spitting a line of acid in the air  |
