Is there an official ruling on the topic of Critical Confirmation rolls when an opponent has a miss chance due to darkness, concealment, invisibility, etc...?

If a character scores a hit and the miss chance roll is successful and the hit is a critical threat...

...When the character rolls to confirm the critical, does he have to roll the miss chance, also, to confirm the critical?

11-19-07, 06:16 PM Why would he? He's already hit, and criticals are based off of luck exclusively, even in game.
