Shigure 04-14-08, 08:59 PM	Is it possible to combine a +1 Quick Reload(MiC) crossbow and the 1st lvl spell Ghostly Reload(RoD) for an even faster reload time? Since a Quick Reload light crossbow takes a free action to reload it seems like it already includes a faster then normal reload even counting the QR feature. But if you add in Ghostly Reload from Races of Dragon, which magically cocks the crossbow for you, its my impression that it would get an even faster reload time. A heavy crossbow with the QR SA takes a move action to reload. Add in Ghostly Reload and again it seems like you'd get a faster reload. Can anyone weight in on this?:confused:

Can anyone weight in on this?:confused: Ghostly Reload appears to already make reloading a free action for both the light and heavy crossbows, it just does it fewer times for the heavy ones, so the quick loading ability would be moot if you are using ghostly reload, and if you have quick loading or the rapid reload feat for a light crossbow than the spell is moot.
Shigure 04-15-08, 04:06 PM	I suppose that makes sense I just figured it may give someone using a heavy or great crossbow some small advantage in loading time. I really can't see it making light or hand crossbows any faster then they already are.
