| dengarbountyhunter09-30-06, 11:07 PM | I came up with this a couple of threads (12 pages of them in fact) ago; imagine a character with: TWF, rapid reload, a light crossbow in main hand, Quick Draw and throwing axes in the off hand. Is it possible for him to... 1) As a full attack, Rapid Reload the light crossbow (free action), fire it, Quick Draw a throwing axe (another , throw it, and so on if he has a high BAB? 2) Threaten the area around him (with the off-hand throwing axe)? 3) Attack someone in melee with the throwing axe and then shoot with the crossbow (I know that provokes AoO, just pretend the axe attack killed him)? 4) [Insert suggestions of funny things to do with this build]? Edit: I just realised that I wrote "throwing daggers" most of the time while I meant "throwing axes"... Must have been tired yesterday night... |

Remember, it still takes two hands to load an X-bow, so after the initial X-bow shot you are fighting one handed again. You could drop the X-bow though. Still, you would not gain any additional attacks, other than those granted by feats such as improved, and greater TWF. |
