Custom Gloves Pricing help [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-16-05, 04:36 PM So if some of you old timers remember the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon there was the Cavalier who had the bow that created force arrows. Think along those lines.

Now I am creating this uber boomerang halfling (on the CO boards (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=430650&goto=newpost)) thanks to the help of RadicalTaoist

Now instead of having to worry if I should have 16 boomerangs per round, I was going to create gloves that create these boomerangs per attack (one appears in your hands as your arm goes back). This would be a two slotted item (hence the real dilemma in pricing help). One slot is for gloves, the other slot is for a weapon slot.
It would:
Create the boomerang
Enchant the boomerang with:
Knockback
Ghost Touch
Guided Missile
Blood Seeking

Or even better it would:
create a boomerang made from the Serren wood so Ghost Touch property is not needed.

Any ideas for pricing?

05-17-05, 10:55 AM On the main site somewhere, there's a quiver that produces arrows. Unfortunately for you, I can't for the life of me remember the name of the item. Somebody else around here might, or you may have luck searching off the D&D site to find it.

As long as your gloves work in a manner similar to this quiver, you could almost rip the pricing straight from it. The quiver produces arrows - including magical and special material - depending upon the price of the quiver. After striking their target, the arrows disappear, and there's some wording that makes it impossible to pass the arrows off to another character as well.

Bah! I wish I could remember the name. I'd go search, but the main D&D site is blocked here at my office.

05-17-05, 11:14 AM Quiver of Annarial...and I was thinking, since this is a slotted item (actually two slots since I can't use another weapon while doing this) it should cost cheaper then a +8 version of those gloves.
