05-08-07, 05:46 AM How do you go about buying a custom item that is a spell/power 1/day - 3/day..

The power in question is Share Pain(XPH, pg132)

I want to have an item that will allow me to use this power (5th level cleric) either 1-3/day.. Its a level 2 power, so a level 3 psion could cast it.

I think it's covered in the creating magic items section of the SRD... When you're figuring the price there's a section of it that's "Special" and there's a section for figuring the increase to base cost based on the charges per day.. Looks something like this:
Charges per day Divide by (5 divided by charges per day)

I dunno for sure what that means given that I've never made something like this myself, but if you read through that I'm sure it explains it.. Also I have no clue on psionics, so you may have to check the psionics handbook.
