D&D FAQ Update: Quick Sheath???? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-24-05, 01:36 AM The new D&D FAQ Update that just recently came out seems that it allows you to Sheath a weapon as part of movement as long as you have a +1 or higher to BAB.

"the ability of any character with a base attack bonus of +1 or better to draw or sheath a weapon as a free action as part of movement"

It was my impression that at minimum it would take a move action to sheath. What gives? :confused:

10-24-05, 03:31 AM The FAQ entry wasn't proof-read fully. It's happened a few times, and will doubtless happen again.

The moral? Do not assume that the FAQ answer applies to anything other than the question specifically being addressed, even if it tangentially references other rules.
