Would it be possible for a Soulknifes Mindblade to become an item of legacy?

I'd allow a Soulknife to define their own legacy for their mind blade, especially if there were extremely few Soulknives in the game world.

I would probably limit the mind blades natural improvement as a result, though. No more than +1, keeping it in line with other weapons of legacy.

A good idea should not be limited by the rules! If you're not the DM, talk to him about allowing it.

Thanks, my DMs the sort where anything goes as long as:
1) It's RAW, preferably RAI
2) It doesn't ruin the game for everyone else.

Also, given the back story, it might actually make a good role play piece.

Regarding the +1 limit, I'd probably agree to it if I wasn't multiclassing with Incarnum Incarnate (& Illumine Soul) and as a result getting reduced rate mindblade advancement anyway. So I don't think it will be a huge issue.

Their is a legacy weapon that can turn into a mindblade.
