I just looked up this question in another section and found it said add all bonus damage that is not dice is added to the multiplier; add all dice after. However one of the players I play with found a rule somewhere in the core books that you don't multiply Bard bonus damage. He read it to me and I remember he made sense, but I don't remember the actual ruling. So what do you add to the multiplier other than Strength damage?

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely, Salp

Sincerely, SalpYou add everything, unless the damage is expressed as "additional dice of damage," or the effect providing the bonus damage explicitly says it does not get multiplied on a critical.

What is this "Bard bonus damage" of which you speak?

Added : If you mean the Bard's Inspire Courage ability, it is multiplied on a critical.

I did mean the Bards Inspire Courage ability.

Thanks for your response. I called my friend, we found what was in the book. Then we checked out the new FAQ and the old 3.5 FAQ. Once we did that my friend changed his mind, and we decided to bring this up to our Living Greyhawk GM.

He had never seen the old FAQ before, and Critical hits weren't covered in the new one.

thank you again.

Sincerely Salp
