Ok, so I built an archer for fun, plan on using him sometime in a future campaign, and I wanna make sure I have my modifiers straight.

He's got a Str. of 17, and is using a +2 Shocking Burst Composite Longbow with a Str bonus of +3.

So, let's assume I roll a hit:

I would do the 1d8 damage, the 1d6, +2 for the bow's enhancement, and the +3 Str bonus. Assuming I roll max damage dice, I'm looking at 17 damage.

Now, let's assume I crit:

1d8 damage (roll 3x for the modifer)

1d6 electrical (just once, right?)

+3 str bonus x3 for a total of +9 to damage

and then here's my question. Does the +2 magic enhancement on the bow stack 3 times, or just the once?

And of course, the 2d10 electrical damage for shocking burst

And of course, the 2d10 electrical damage for shocking burstYes, the 1d6 from the shock is still 1d6, and yes, the magic enhancement is multiplied. So a crit is 3d8+1d6+2d10+15 (min 21, max 65, avg 43) damage.

Nope! 8 + 6 + 2 + 3 = 19.
Crap....basic addition rears its ugly head again. Dumb mistake on my part.

Thanks a lot for your help.
