I could of sworn I read this however I cannot recall where and I'm starting to doubt my sanity.

Should I weild a weapon in my off-hand, weither light, double, or other, do you use only half your Strength modifier?

Also a related question I cannot seem to find written down but could swear is a rule some place. If I weild a two handed weapon in two hands, do I use my Strength modifier times one and a half on damage, or is that just one handed weapons in both palms?

Thank you, and please excuse the newbness of my requests.

You're right on both counts.
A weapon in your off-hand, whether a seperate weapon or the second head of a double weapon, uses half your Str modifier for damage.
A weapon held in both hands, whether it's required to be or not, does 1.5 times Str mod damage.
