... huh, good catch. That's a rather nice loophole to be able to effectively attack DR X/epic creatures long before you could ever afford an epic weapon (although how smart it would be doing so at such a relatively low level is questionable ;)).

03-08-07, 11:29 PM IIRC, a +6 weapon can be obtained pre-epic by summoning a nishruu(lost empires of faerun) and killing it with a +5 weapon.:)

03-09-07, 12:04 AM IIRC, when the nishruu is killed with a magic weapon, the enhancement bonus of the weapon increases by 1(can someone verify this? Long time since I last read the book at borders).

So if you kill one with a +5 weapon...:)

03-09-07, 04:08 AM I was trying to appease Ogreforhire there. Pretty much my statement was geared towards: if you're nervous about the rules attatched to summon/kill, just track one down and kill it instead.
