This should be an easy one...

As I understand it in regards to damage reduction DR, the number before the slash is the amount of damage that needs to be dealt before the monster takes it, unless the attacker is attacking with the type of weapon listed after the slash then it takes it all. Correct?

Monster: DR 5/Holy
PC 1: Successful attack with +1 kick ass long sword total damage 5 (normally), but since its not holy, 0 actually.
PC 2: Successful backstab (flanking whatever) with a plain ol' dagger 3(x2)=6 (normally), and even though its not holy its greater than the DR of 5 so... 1 Actually.
PC 3: Successful attack with a holy caltrop... 3 normal and since its holy actual.

Yes?
