02-05-06, 07:45 PM DR 5/- in item form? a lot. Like seriously a LOT. I'm not sure what exactly you could compare it with, I wouldn't be surprised if it was epic. I mean it's worth 19 levels of barbarian for crying out loud. now DR 5/magic, 5/evil, 5/Cold Iron AND Slashing AND Good? any of those would be cheaper. heck DR 5/magic is almost cheap at a +3 armor bonus, 5/evil is 96000 as a wonderous item...5/- should definitly be over 150,000, minimum.

02-05-06, 08:29 PM The DMG has an armor enhancement that gives the wearer DR 5/magic for a +3 bonus. Abstract from that. A +4 armor is 16000, which is the earliest you could have it on armor. at least double if it doesn't take up an item slot. Other than that, I wouldn't know where to go.

02-05-06, 11:40 PM The shirts in the Mini's HB are 76k for the various 5/alignments. 5/adamantine is 90k. So JadeSpider's 150k sounds fair.

The 5/magic is 58k, btw.
(these are unslotted, though. Keep that in mind)

02-06-06, 12:21 AM The Miniatures Handbook has shirts that provide DR 5/(something) with the something being a material, alignment, or possibly magic.

The cost depends on what overcomes the DR so all are priced slightly differently.
