Platemail +1, Invulnerability Adamantine Platemail +1, Invulnerability I know the rules state: "If a creature has damage reduction from more than one source, the two forms of damage reduction do not stack. Instead, the creature gets the benefit of the best damage reduction in a given situation." However, it doesn't say anything about items (that I see). So I am basically trying to find out if the adamantine platemail +1 has DR 7/magic or 5/magic.
Matthew77 04-03-07, 02:47 PM	Adamantine Platemail +1 of Invulnerability grants its wearer DR 5/Magic and DR 3/- You apply the best DR in all cases. So if the wearer got hit with a non-magical longsword for 10 points, they would only take 5. If the wearer got hit with a +3 longsword for 10 points, they would take 7 damage, because even though it pierces the DR 5/Magic, it doesn't bypass the DR 3/-.
