I need someone to break down damage reduction for me. What can bypass what kinds of damage reduction? What types of damage reductions are there? Can anyone provide a chart of what kinds of damage reduction beats what?

Damage Reduction
Unless otherwise stated by the monster’s description, use these
definitions to determine whether damage reduction components
are extraordinary or supernatural.

Extraordinary
• DR #/slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning
• DR #/adamantine
• DR #/—

Supernatural
• DR #/silver or cold iron
• DR #/magic
• DR #/chaotic, evil, good, or lawful

there is also DR #/Epic which I guess can be either, but is most likely supernatural.

DR #/- is not bypassed by anything, but does not protect you from energy attacks. I'm not sure if it protects you from Force or not, though.

Also note that DR doesn't work against energy attacks, spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities. A complete description of how DR works can be found on pages 307-308 of the Monster Manual.

And in case anyone could possibly be confused (I was little when I trying to work something out yesterday), DR #/magic means overcome by magic weapons of +1 enchantment bonus or higher, not spells (since spells already overcome DR). My two cents.
