| Chells11-09-07, 12:10 PM | If I have a character that has 1/2 damage from piercing and also damage reduction 2/- in what orver do I do the math. If I get hit for 10 points of pierce dmg do I 1/2 it to 5 and then take off 2 for 3 points dmg or do I take off 2 and then 1/2 the remaining 8 for 4 points of damage. Thanks |

| Chells11-09-07, 12:54 PM | Ok I think I got it. So the 1/2 dmg pierce first then DR. Right? Also I get the 1/2 pierce from my race and the DR from my class. Does that change anything? |

No. That the way you need to figure out the damage all the time when you have those kind of abilities. First you multiply (by 1/2 in your case) then you apply the DR. Unless otherwise noted of course. |

Percentile First then DR. Example 10 dmg 10/2 = 5-2 = 3 10-2 = 8/2 = 4 Example 50 dmg 50/2 = 25-2 = 23 50-2 = 48/2 = 24 |
