 I've probably missed something very simple here, but could anyone tell me the cost and procedures needed to create Damage Reduction 10/bludgeoning onto an already existing piece of magical armour?

The MIC presents armour properties called *block, which give DR 5/(one damage type or another damage type) for the cost of a +2 enhancement each.

Combining Axeblock (DR 5/Bludgeoning or Piercing) with Spearblock (DR 5/Slashing or Bludgeoning) in the same suit of armour gives you DR 5/Bludgeoning for the cost of a +4 enhancement.

I'd allow double the effect for double the cost (in terms of market price adjustment); thus a suit of armour that effectively provides DR 10/Bludgeoning would cost 81,000gp. Bit of a waste of money, really.

There's nothing that says these properties have to be on the same item; thus you could make a Greater Axeblock armour and Greater Spearblock shield (or vice versa), both at least +5 equivalent, thus a minimum of 50k. Better than 81k.
