Looking for some kind of chart or rules that cover when armor is hit so many times that it starts decreasing it's AC till fixed or is ruined and falls apart. Is there such rules???

If you can get hold of it, there's a 2nd edition product; the Complete Fighter, that had an optional rule called Damage Points for Armour.

Basically each Armour type had a certain amount of Damage Points, and each time the character was hit, whether for 1 point of damage or 50, the Armour took 1 Damage Point and once it reached 0 it fell apart and was destroyed forever (of course you could repair it before it got to 0).

Hope that helps a little.

It doesn't happen.

To damage armor, you have to have sundered it.

This pretty much assumes that you are banging out dents in it in your free time yourself, just as you are sharpening your blades.

Old armour should have less AC...
Battered armour?
If its been torn asunder by a war-axe or something I'd say its up to the Dm to decide on the spot, such as the breast plate is craked, then you take more damage from enemies facing you...

I'm pretty sure you can't sunder armour.

His question was about damaging armour, and I told him of a system where that's possible.

Let's help the guy out.
