JulesCARV 01-15-08, 01:29 AM	So I was thinking that a Damascene spatula could basically count as a masterwork handaxe for combat purposes, but that it would also give a +2 circumstance bonus to profession (cook) checks made to fry, sautée, etc, foods. Obviously, 306 gp is the minimum price for a Damascene spatula, just for the masterwork handaxe component, but I'm wondering how much more to add for the +2 to profession (cook) checks. I'm thinking that making it cost an even 350 gp, with the masterwork cook's tool component effectively costing 44 gp, would be fair. What do you think?

Rulebook 01-15-08, 09:24 AM	firstly, stop trolling with posts like this. it dosent make you look cool. secondly, a spatula is not a handaxe. at its best it would be an improvised 1d2 weapon, and thats only if its a REALLY big spatula. thirdly it wouldnt get you any bonuses to your checks, unless it was part of a larger cooking kit which was also masterworked. the spatula has very little to do with how your food comes out. thats more the pan
