Dance like you want to win! [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-07, 12:34 AM Sorry for the utter laziness folks, but I need help finding something that I remember seeing in a D&D book.

There is the dancing magic item property, and it's pretty blegh.
I remember seeing something very similar to it but much much better than dancing. (but it is not Grinding)
I cannot remember where I saw it, but I know it was not in any of the other setting books (eberron and such).
If anyone has any idea what I am talking about, please tell me what book it is in.

As an added bonus, anyone who can name the reference in the topic title gets a cookie. (::)

Anybody else out there know anything about what I'm thinking of?

To reveal more about my search:
If anyone knows the kingdom hearts 2 character, Xaldin (dude with 6 spears that fly around him and attack with him) and have any idea how to emulate that in D&D in any practical way (the dancing property is not practical), I'd really appreciate it if you'd share your ideas.

But the flying weapon enhancment is exactly what your looking for.

The weapon flys through the air 30 ft. you can give them 25 word instructions and they fight as Animated Objects of their size plus their magical enhancement.

03-10-07, 05:25 PM theres a guy in the Dragonmech books with a magic animated ride that has 5 dancing huge longswords. he releases them one at a time, and it even breaks down how many will be active at a time

1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1.... but its cool to see that many whirling blades about.
