| stsword06-28-06, 12:20 AM | How are dancing weapons supposed to work? Do they get to attack with your iterative attacks while you do whatever you want? And if so, wouldn't that mean that someone with four dancing weapons could quadruple their iterative attacks four rounds into a combat? |
| Sledged06-28-06, 01:03 AM | Seems that way, doesn't it? Of course you're talking about a hefty investment. At minimum it would be (50,301 gp x 4 = ) 201,204 gp. Also, I can't tell if it gets any other attack bonuses from the wielder other than BAB and its own enhancement bonus (Str, Dex from Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus, etc...). Or that it gets any damage bonuses beyond its enhancement bonus. |
| Dalthbar06-28-06, 01:07 AM | Remember it's a standard action to activate a dancing weapon, so you'd have these items staggered one-round off and after the 4th round, the first one drops. As noted, this would be a MASSIVE investment, so if you have 200k+ to burn on multiple dancing weapons that will have a very limited usefulness, then I'd let it happen as a DM. Hopefully you're a creature with a bunch of arms. |
