02-21-07, 02:21 AM Cosmetically these look like Large arrows, so would it be ok is the look were changed to that of senbon needles and still achive the same effect? Also do these count as thrown or ammo to get enchanted?

EDIT: screw it, i'll just take the damn ewp feat for shuriken

02-21-07, 08:43 AM You might think about taking a level or two of monk instead. It would save the feat, and give you a lot of other goodness too.

As for darts, you can of course adjust their flavor however you like. By RAW they are not enchanted (or destroyed) like ammunition, but that is not an uncommon house rule.

They are if I go the 'Darts are ammo for the Dart Thruster' route :) also I thougt about monk, but in the end I decided to go with the Ftr dip for the feats and +2 bab, not to mention buckler prof (like a MW wouldn't fix that)

You could make them look like cocktail umbrellas if you want to. Or pointy Hummel figurines. Or tiny Dodge Darts. Who gives a damn.

why ask? because I think that flavor text should still make sense, and it was questionable to me if I could turn an arrow-length item into more of a throwing needle (Senbon ain't THAT big)
