Deathless Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-02-06, 03:35 PM In the BoED, it states that the Deathless are not effected by Disrupting Weapons but makes no mention of the Undead Bane Enchantment - does anyone know if there is errata on this? If not, what is the general consensus out there on the issue?

Quick responses would be appreciated as this is for tonight's session.

07-02-06, 03:57 PM Since deathless are considered an entirely separate creature type, you would need a bane weapon specific to that type. Undead bane is no good, deathless bane is.

Deathless are also, IMO, a really stupid concept that would be wholly unnecessary if WotC wasn't on the silly and often self-contradictory "Undead/negative energy are teh EVAL!" kick.

07-02-06, 04:28 PM Aye, Dealthless are SIMILAR to Undead, but not the same. Things which do this and this to Undead do not do this and this to Deathless.
