I can't seem to find a consitant weight for Mithral. I've looked in the SRD and crystalkeep.com, but I can't make a good jugment about it. I wish to know because I what to build an airship out of Mithral.

If anyone cold give me it's weight, or just compare its weight to nomal wood, I would be ever so thakful.

mithral basicaly weighs half as much as steel... there for you just need to figure out how much a steel airship would weigh and cut it in half.

Think aluminum or titanium in todays world.

Mithral:
...
An item made from mithral weighs half as much as the same item made from other metals.

Density of steel - 7.8 g/cm3 - 487 pounds per cubic foot
Supposed density of mithral - 3.9 g/cm3 - 243.5 pounds per cubic foot

Density of aluminum - 2.7 g/cm3 - 168.5 pounds per cubic foot
Density of titanium - 4.5 g/cm3 - 281 pounds per cubic foot

Mithral's heavier than aluminum, but a little lighter than titanium.

I can't argue when Tyler pulls out his science brain :)

So titanium would be pretty close to mithril.. there you go.

Very nice of you to provide their densities. :)

There is another part mithral falls inbetween aluminum and titanium: it's more elastic and plastic than titanium, but not as much as aluminum, and it's not quite as strong as titanium, but quite sronger than aluminum. :D

you should build your airship out of soarwood like the half-elves do in Eberron.
