| Xeonas01-19-06, 04:12 PM | I can't seem to find a consitant weight for Mithral. I've looked in the SRD and crystalkeep.com, but I can't make a good jugment about it. I wish to know because I what to build an airship out of Mithral. If anyone cold give me it's weight, or just compare its weight to nomal wood, I would be ever so thakful. |

| Tyler Do'Urden01-20-06, 01:36 AM | Mithral: ... An item made from mithral weighs half as much as the same item made from other metals. Density of steel - 7.8 g/cm3 - 487 pounds per cubic foot Supposed density of mithral - 3.9 g/cm3 - 243.5 pounds per cubic foot Density of aluminum - 2.7 g/cm3 - 168.5 pounds per cubic foot Density of titanium - 4.5 g/cm3 - 281 pounds per cubic foot Mithral's heavier than aluminum, but a little lighter than titanium. |

Very nice of you to provide their densities. :) There is another part mithral falls inbetween aluminum and titanium: it's more elastic and plastic than titanium, but not as much as aluminum, and it's not quite as strong as titanium, but quite sronger than aluminum. :D |
