Quarterstaff: - Rapidly thrusting the staff, much like a spear. - Rapidly sweeping the staff left to right at the opponent's legs, like a broom. - Spinning the staff above head, aiming the blows on the opponent's head. - Spinning the staff on the side, aiming the blows on the opponent's head, much like a serie of uppercuts. So, what kind of combination can YOU come up with ? |

Then I thought of Taco Bell, so I guess that's were I'll stop. Matrix 2, I think, is a decent example of the flurry with a staff. |

But that is mostly for my Greater Two-Weapon Fighting Monks, so yeah. The rapid pokes would be when using the Quarterstaff as a two-hander, the rapid twirls would be when treating it as a one-hander and a light weapon. |
| nodaisho03-03-06, 08:05 PM | for a first level monk, I would see an unarmed flurry as a hook with the primary hand, then, using the momentum, spinning into a hook kick (thinkthat is what they are called) with the opposite foot. |
