So, an item that lets you use Raise dead once a day:

(5th level spell * 9th level caster * 1800) + (50* 5000gp material cost) Divided by 5, for 1 use per day?
(81'000+ 250'000)/5 = 66'200gp

So creating an item like this would cost 33'100 gp and 2648 XP?

Well, double everything unless it goes to some nice little body slot...

I assume you're talking about raise dead, not resurrection. Just to be clear :)

It looked like you used the formula right. But I feel like there is an item already that does something similar you could compare to. I'm not thinking of it right now, unfortunately.

Edit- actually, I'm not sure if you get to divide the material cost by 5 or not... I'll have to check.

Oh yeah, raise dead. Edited it.

And I am not completely sure about it either...

Help appreciated. :)

I just thought, that this seemed like a useful item for any mid-to-high level party to buy together...

(5󭘷50+(5000*50)) / (5/1) = 56750GP
Simplified:
33750+250000 / 5=56750GP

That would be a wand, so you would need to have UMD or be a cleric 9 to use it. Otherwise, it would look like this:
(5󭘱800) / (5/1) + 5000 = 21200
I dont know if this is correct, but since it has 1 charge per day, you add it only once. It seems kinda cheap though, and i would change the price a little.

Actually, you wouldn't be able to put this spell into a wand, as the spell level (5) is too high; you would have to use a wondrous item (or create a staff that can cast raise dead a fixed number of times...

If I read this correct, if it has unlimited charges but a limit per day, you add the material component 50 times.

The "item price calculator" in the DMG is known broken. 80% of time it come out with a TOO LOW price
I always calculate the price for an equivalent or similar "staff" to have an idea of what i'm going to do
