Did I miss something... (Items stacking bonus) [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-27-07, 03:32 AM Or do the Lense of Detection and Goggles of Minute seeing's bonuses stack? Awful cheap way to get a +10 on search checks in a manner that doesnt really seem logical since they basically do the same function.

For the record, the lens of detection's bonus is unnamed and the goggles' bonus is competance.

For the record, the lens of detection's bonus is unnamed and the goggles' bonus is competance.I suppose they would stack, but since both qualify as "eye lenses or goggles" a character cn only benefit from one o these items at a time.

There's ways to get round that of course; take an epic feat or spend a little money come to mind - but you can't wear both the items at once, so the fact that you can stack the two bonuses is not an issue.
