BatGnat 07-07-06, 06:44 AM	I was just reading the Class "Knight" from PHB2. Bulwark defense states that anyone within 5' their square is treated as difficult terrain. My questions are: 1. If the player moves 5' is it counted as 10'? 2. If it is counted as 10' does it provoke an attack of oppurtunity for moving more that 5' out of a threatened square?
tarkin 07-07-06, 10:03 AM	I play it this way: 1) Yes 2) Yes and also 3) You can't move 5ft in dificult terrain unless you use a Move Action. (no free 5ft step) Note, the DMG is a bit silent on the issue, though it does expressely state that if your speed is reduced to the point where you can't even move 5ft, then you can still move 5ft as a Full Round Action, and that this does not count as a 5ft step, so it provokes an AoO.
