Or heck even the Improved dirty fighting feat (2d6 damage) from the gladiator issue of dragon magazine? My friends used to think it actually gave you +1d4 damage on all attacks but then WATCH OUT, its actually one single attack with +1d4 damage Q.Q I can see this useful at levels 1-5 but no other level after that.... maybe a rogue could use this in a sneak attack? |
| RobbyPants11-07-06, 02:11 PM | I've often wondered the same thing. I also played in a game where the player thought it applied to every attack (oops!). Really, I think it's just for RP flavor more than anything else. It seems like even a half-well built rogue can do much better with sneak attacks and flanking or feinting. I suppose the feat could serve as a nice prereq for some dirty fighter type PrC, but that's about it. |
