| cog_n_taz05-14-07, 07:43 AM | To all of you who play this game, how would I go about moving this into D&D? I am asking solely about the function, since I have the rest worked out. I was thinking 3 negative levels (min. level to use would be 7) that can't kill, aren't blocked by N.energy protection/death ward, affect undead and so on. (because it's simply the same effect, not negative energy.) |

| cog_n_taz05-15-07, 01:32 AM | Sickened like the condition? 'cause gnomes aren't too weak, it's just a race change, and in the game it's about the worst thing you can do to a character. |
| cog_n_taz05-16-07, 06:36 AM | *sigh* anyone? |
| fatal error05-16-07, 11:36 AM | No, sickened as in Leper Gnomes are Gnomes with a disease. So yes, as a Leper Gnome they are weaker than most races. I'd go with setting their stats to 6 Str, 6 Dex, 6 Con, 12 Int, 6 Wis, 6 Cha. As per Baleful Polymorph, all items the target is wearing fall to the ground, and if picked up are still not the right size for a Gnome (unless the character was already small). Now, clearly this isn't quite as powerful as Baleful Polymorph, since 6s aren't as bad as the 1 Str and 1 Int of a Toad. Of course, the Dex, Con, and Wis are significantly worse than even a Toad. Depending on how you want to regulate its use (charges, recharge time, fizzle chance), it should probably show up a little bit before Baleful Polymorph. Or, you could increase the base stats of the Leper Gnome and get it into a game at a lower level. |
