Diskchair: This is a chair which rests on a Tenser's Floating Disk, projected from a small magic item on the bottom of the chair. The chair moves with the user's thoughts at a speed of 30 feet. The chair can be used to hustle at 60 feet per round, but cannot run. It has a maximum capacity 300 pounds. It is typically used by those who have lost the use of their legs. Faint evocation; CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item, tenser's floating disk; Price 3,000 gp. |

You would see all the of the nobles riding around on their pimped out floating thrones. I could even see races being held on these... Truly the sport of kings! |

Tenser's Floating Disk's purpose is to follow you around (carrying your equipment), and not to carry you. Check out the spell Greater Floating Disk from the Spell Compendium, it seems more suited for your idea, but it's a 4th level spell. Maybe you could base it on that spell (decrease it's speed to 20 ft, limit it's flying to 3 feet above the surface, and require concentrating as a standard action to move the diskchair at all). |
